The pueo is a Hawaiian owl that is endemic to the islands. This owl is very beautiful, a rare sight to see and has very cultural and spiritual meaning to the Hawaiian people. I am lucky to see one every now and again near the Russian Fort on my way to my studio in Waimea, Kauai.
Marionette's art is featured in the new NETFLIX movie "Finding 'Ohana" and in season 2 of the new Magnum PI. Her paintings can be found at the Koloa Landing Resort in Poipu and in public and private collections throughout the world. Her painting "Ti Leaves and Palm Trees" was featured in The Artists Magazine, and she has also created designs for Designs Studios Honolulu, Aunty Lilikoi, Kauai Coffee, Hawaiian Pineapple Company, Mele Kalikimaka Tshirts, and the cover of two short stories by author, Gregg Edwards Townsley.
